Low-carb Mediterranean Tortilla with Chicken
Ingredients that you need:
- 2 homemade tortillas
- 7 oz. (200 g) chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 garlic clove
- a couple of olives
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tomato
- a lettuce leaf
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 5 oz. (150 g) Feta cheese
Preparation:
Cut the chicken breast to the dice and fry in the skillet. Let it cool down a little. Chop the garlic finely and in a small bowl mix with basil, oregano and olive oil. Then cut the tomato on the dice. Sprinkle on top of the tortillas. Then put over the lettuce leaf, chicken and tomato and pour the spices. At the end, add the finely chopped olives. Wrap good and enjoy!
Note: You can eat this tortilla cold or warm (while chicken is still warm).
Low-carb Tortilla with Avocado and Turkey
Ingredients that you need:
- 2 tortillas
- 5 oz. (150 g) turkey meat
- 5 oz. (150 g) of Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 2 tablespoons chopped low-fat cheese
- 1 small avocado, ripe
- An onion
- 1 small tomato
Preparation:
Cut turkey meat into strips and fry them. Then grate the cheddar and cut the onion. Chop the tomato and avocados into dice. Mix low-fat cheese with yogurt. On each tortilla, place half the mixture of cheese and yogurt, and then distribute all other ingredients. Wrap the tortillas and close them well at the ends so that don’t fall apart.
Low-carb Tortilla with Ground Beef
Ingredients that you need:
- 2 tortillas
- 7 oz. (200 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion
- spices: salt, pepper, parsley
- 3 tablespoons of chopped cheese
- 1 tomato
- a couple of lettuce leaves
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
Preparation:
Heat olive oil on the pan, then pour into a finely chopped onion. When the onion is softened, add the meat and spices. Sautee until the meat get a nice golden-brown color and then remove from the heat. Place in a bowl and let it to cool a while. After the meat is cool, add cheese and mix well.
On each tortilla, place half the mixture of meat and then slices of tomatoes and lettuce leaves. Wrap the tortillas well and enjoy this high-protein meal.
