Making these crackers, you’ll get perfectly healthy snack that you can bring with you and eat it when you feel the urge to eat something not so healthy.
Preparation is simple, and takes 40 minutes total.
Recipe for Crackers with seeds
Ingredients that you need:
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 1/2 cup of chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons of flaxseed
- 1/2 cup peeled pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup peeled sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or just put the amount to your taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
Place the parchment paper in a baking tray and set aside.
In a bowl mix the seeds and spices and cover with water. Mix all well and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Transfer the mixture into a baking tray and roll out in the form of a rectangle 1 ½ inches (4 mm) thick. Bake at 350° F (180° C) for 25-30 minutes or until the edges become golden.
Cut or break the whole baked wafer in small pieces and serve with your favorite salsa or spread.
You can keep crackers in a closed container at room temperature for one week.
