Oven-baked cauliflower – Recipe
Ingredients that you need:
- 1 large cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 10 fl. oz. (300 ml) Greek yogurt (instead you can use a thick yogurt)
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon of mashed garlic
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- salt to taste
At first preheat oven to 200 degrees C (390 degrees F) and grease a baking pan with olive oil. Also you can use baking paper.
Wash the cauliflower well and remove all the green leaves. Leave the head of cauliflower whole, do not separate the florets.
In a bowl, mix yogurt with lemon juice. Then add cumin, mashed garlic, curry, salt and pepper. Mix all well.
Dip the cauliflower in a prepared marinade and place in a baking pan.
Bake in oven for 30-40 minutes. Marinade will create a nice crispy crust on the surface of cauliflower.
When baked, remove from the oven. Let it cool for about ten minutes and serve it with a lettuce.
