It is so healthy and garlic gives it an amazing taste. This broccoli soup is very light but still, it gives the feeling of fullness. Personally, I like it for dinner but works great as a warm appetizer.
Simple Broccoli Soup – Recipe
The recipe makes 4 servings. Nutritional value (per serving): 70 Calories, 6 g Fat, 3.7 g Carbs, 1.5 g Protein.
Ingredients that you need:
- 8 oz. (2 stalks) broccoli
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 oz. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- dry spices of your choice
Wash the broccoli and tear into the flowers. Then cook it in salted water on a low heat. When cooked, mix it in a blender.
In a pot melt the butter and fry shortly sliced garlic cloves just as long as they leave the scent.
Then add mixed broccoli, as well as the water in which it was cooked. Spice it to taste. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy.
