Aromatic Water: Hydration with the flavor of fruits and spices!

Probably you have already heard about some kind of aromatic water for losing weight (such as Skinny Water). Well, here we won’t talk about how efficient it is. We’ll embrace this idea as truly nice advice for hydration with healthy and delicious water.

Many people don’t like drinking water because it’s beverage without color and flavor. So this idea for aromatic water is especially useful for juice fans. Now you can hydrate yourselves without bringing in so much sugar into your blood system. Also, it is a perfect idea for healthy drinks, for those who are on a diet.

If you are a juice addict, try to replace sugary juice with homemade “ice-tea” – or delicious and mostly totally caloric free aromatic water.

Statistics: Only 34% of Americans drink enough water, and 10% of them do not drink water at all.

Aromatic Water – a unique recipe with ingredients as desired

Preparation of aromatic water is very easy and simple: pick your favorite ingredients, cut them more or less and put in a few pints (2-3 liters) of water. Then leave overnight to develop flavor. Next day, pour into a glass and enjoy the taste and refreshment. This saved water can stand in the fridge for a few days. So, if liked (after tasting more flavors and choosing your favorite) you can cool even larger quantities.

Here I am transferring a few ideas for ingredients. Like Skinny water is flavored with cucumber and lemon and declared a “water for weight loss” – some other combinations get a certain reputation.

Combination for refreshment

  • Lemongrass – chopped and squeezed (or lime)
  • A handful of mint leaves – chopped
  • Half vanilla stick – cut in half

Exotic combination

  • 1 large orange cut to pieces
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom
  • Half vanilla stick – cut in half

Fruity-floral combination

  • 2 handfuls of blackberry or raspberry
  • One handful of fresh or dried pink rose petals
  • Half vanilla stick – cut in half

Combination for good digestion

  • 3/4 tablespoons of cardamom cook in 1 cup boiling water for 5 minutes
  • Add juice of one squeezed lemon
  • 1 orange cut into smaller pieces
  • 12 chopped fresh mint leaves

Combination for immunity

  • 3 oranges – cut into pieces
  • 2 lemons cut into pieces
  • 2 sprigs of sage
  • And 2 sprigs of thyme

As you can see – there are fruits, vanilla, spice herbs, flowers – so you can make up your own mix.

Quick aromatic water in a glass

If you remain without a stock of spicy water that stood overnight, you can quickly insert some of the ingredients into the larger glasses and just pour them over with cold water. Here are some suggestions for easy refreshment – even serving:

  1. Lemon, lime or orange, and you do not even have to put them all togetherAromatic Water: Hydration with the flavor of fruits and spices!
  2. Lemon and chopped fresh ginger
  3. Lime and twig of fresh rosemary
  4. Cucumber sticks and orange pieces
  5. A slice of watermelon, melon, mango, grapefruit or pineapple
  6. Only lavender or lavender and berries

Plain water can be interesting and attractive if you spice it with fresh aromatic herbs and serve in decorative glasses – and with a cinnamon stick, it looks more like a cocktail.Aromatic Water: Hydration with the flavor of fruits and spices!

Apparently, plain water does not have to be ordinary and boring at all.

Also, there are, on the market, special pitchers for aromatic water – Infused Water Pitcher.
