Milk with Sage against a cough – Recipe

Ingredients that you need:

  • Milk, 8 oz. (250 ml)
  • Sage, 1 tbsp.
  • Butter, 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric, 1 tsp.
  • Honey, 1 tsp.


Pour in the sauce pan milk and add sage. Then, over low heat, bring to a boil.

As soon as milk has boiled, remove from the heat. Then add butter, cover the saucepan and allow to stand for about 15 minutes.

After that, you should drain this beverage and add honey and one teaspoon turmeric (for children – half a teaspoon) and mix.

You should drink this beverage half an hour before bedtime. A quiet night without a hard cough is guaranteed.
