Strawberry ice cream – low in carbs and calories! Done in 5 minutes!

You’re on a diet but still, there isn’t a reason why you shouldn’t eat something sweet but healthy, once in a while. And the perfect idea is this strawberry ice cream. Although, for me, ice cream is the most enjoyable dessert, not just for summer. But I always worry about the amount of sugar in it. So this recipe makes me truly happy and I hope you’ll enjoy as well.

Season or not, you can make this ice cream always, just use fresh or frozen fruits. It is done in 5 minutes, and can stay in freeze for a while waiting for you to get desire for it.

Recipe for Strawberry ice cream

Recipe makes 4 servings. Nutritional value per serving: 93 kcal, 11 g protein, 10 g carbs, 2 g fat.

Ingredients that you need:

  • 14 oz. (400 g) strawberries, frozen or fresh
  • 1 tablespoon squeezed lemon juice
  • stevia
  • 4 ½ oz. (130 g) of yoghurt


Combine all the ingredients and insert in a blender. The amount of stevia is your choice. Then mix until you get a creamy mixture. For this, you will need a few minutes. Pour the mixture into the dish in which you plan to freeze.

After freezing, use a scoop to make balls. Decorate as you wish. Serve and enjoy in this healthy dessert!
