When we’re talking about lunch, many of us automatically think of some meat and vegetables (like some burgers). Yes, it would be the favorite combination for a lot of us. No matter if you’re on some special dietary regime, you can always adjust this meat-vegetable “team” to work in your favor.
For those on a low-carb diet, we have LCHF recipe for delicious stuffed burgers. We leave it to you to choose the side dish that will go with it (maybe cauliflower puree or spinach lettuce salad).
LCHF burgers stuffed with cheese
This recipe makes meat mixture for 10 big burgers. Of course, you can adjust the amount of meat to get more or fewer burgers.
Ingredients that you need:
- 1 lb. (500 g) minced pork
- 1 lb. (500 g) minced beef
- 4 oz. (120 g) ground sesame
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley, fresh or dried
- salt and pepper to taste
- cottage cheese for filling the burgers
At first, mix beef and pork minced meat. Then add ground sesame and parsley to the meat mixture. Season it with salt and pepper. Stir the ingredients and leave for 10 minutes to combine well.
Then take some meat mixture (to be a handful), shape a ball and slowly push it and spread with your fingers on the chopping board.
In the middle add a tablespoon of cottage cheese.
Fold a burger, squeeze out the air around cheese and then press well with your fingers to close the edges.
Fry in hot fat (lard) by carefully turning several times.
When done, serve with a side dish of your choice. It is the best to serve burgers while still warm. Enjoy!
