Jam (honey) of dandelion – recipe
Pick 300 yellow flowers of this plant, and then pour the cold water and let stand for 24 hours.
The next day, strain dandelion well and pour 1 pint warm earlier boiled water. Cook for 15-20 minutes, then add
- about 2 pounds (1 kg) of sugar,
- 2 chopped lemons medium sized (also can be with bark),
- 1 teaspoon of citric acid
and boil for another 5 minutes.
When the jam got the color of honey, remove from the heat. Wait for it to cool and strain through cheesecloth or a strainer. Cook this mixture for 2 minutes more. And your dandelion jam is done!
Note: pick only flowers of dandelions that grow in clean area, not near roads.
Dandelion jam is best to take in the morning on an empty stomach, dissolving it in a cup of green tea. Doing so, this potion will work anti-inflammatory on the body; as toning tool that cleanses the liver from toxins and toxic substances, and even removes radionuclides from the whole body, and has a diuretic effect!
