Low-carb bread

  • eggs 4 pieces
  • water 3 1/3 fl. oz. (100 ml)
  • nuts 3 oz. (90 g)
  • flaxseed 3 oz. (90 g)
  • pumpkin seeds 3 oz. (90 g)
  • sesame 3 oz. (90 g)
  • sunflower seeds 3 oz. (90 g)
  • salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon sodium bicarbonate

Preparation:

Whisk the eggs and add salt, sodium bicarbonate and water. Then grind all the seeds into a meal and knead the bread. After shaping, bake 50 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F). Enjoy!

Homemade chicken pate

If your children or you have to eat pate then the best solution is to make your own healthy pate. Here is an interesting recipe for delicious chicken spread that goes great with this low-carb bread we have just presented.

  • 7 oz. (200 g) chicken white meat
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 onion
  • a bunch of parsley
  • handful of pumpkin seeds
  • handful of sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of baked sesame
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Bake or boil chicken meat, or if you have leftovers from chicken roast, it could do also. That is actually pretty good way to use yesterday’s chicken lunch for really healthy pate.

Place all the seeds in a blender and mix well. Then add chopped chicken meat and onion and mix again.

At the end, just add cream and stir. Season it to taste and enjoy.
