Many of us are not fish fans, but it is so healthy that we have to include it in our weekly menu. This fish broth is very healthy and refreshing entree. You will certainly enjoy its taste. It is easily prepared in short time. And if you’re counting calories, it is also suitable.
Recipe for Fish broth
Recipe makes 4 servings. Preparation takes 10 minutes, and cooking lasts 25 minutes. One serving contains: 14 g Fat (unsaturated 11.6 g), 35 mg cholesterol, 25 g carbohydrates, 3 g protein, and 115 mg salt.
Ingredients that you need:
- 1 lb. (500 g) white fish (hake, grouper, monkfish, etc.)
- 1 onion
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 potato
- 1 celery root
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 carrot
- ½ red bell pepper
- 2 oz. (50 ml) tomato juice
- 1 ½ pints (1 I) of water
- Bay leaf
- half a lemon
At first, chop all vegetables.
Then in a cold water, put the chopped vegetables, olive oil and fish.
After 15 minutes of cooking, add lemon, tomato juice and herbs. Then let it cook for another 10 minutes.
Finally, remove the fish and serve the broth. You can use fish for preparation of main dish. Enjoy!
