Crackers with Seeds – Crispy and Spicy Low-carb Snack

Recipe for Crackers with seeds

Ingredients that you need:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 1/2 cup of chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup peeled pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup peeled sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or just put the amount to your taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Preparation:

Place the parchment paper in a baking tray and set aside.

In a bowl mix the seeds and spices and cover with water. Mix all well and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Transfer the mixture into a baking tray and roll out in the form of a rectangle 1 ½ inches (4 mm) thick. Bake at 350° F (180° C) for 25-30 minutes or until the edges become golden.

Cut or break the whole baked wafer in small pieces and serve with your favorite salsa or spread.

You can keep crackers in a closed container at room temperature for one week.
