Egg diet is fast and effective way to lose weight.  With this diet you can lose up to 15 pounds in just 15 days. Although it sounds too unbelievable to be true, this diet really gives excellent results. Of course you should persistently stick to the scheduled menus, increase physical activity and enter a minimum of ½ gallon (2 liters) of water a day.

Egg diet is similar to the Atkins diet, which is based on high intake of protein and low carbohydrate intake. When entering large amounts of protein and vitamins, you’re also dissolving fat at the same time.

Egg Diet menu for 5 days

Day 1

Breakfast: 1 orange, 2 biscuits, a cup of coffee or tea without sugar

Lunch: 1 orange, 1 boiled egg, 1 sour milk or yogurt

Dinner: 2 tomatoes, 2 boiled eggs, 1 pound (1/2 kg) of lettuce or cucumbers, 2 biscuits

Day 2

Breakfast: 1 orange, 2 biscuits, a cup of coffee or tea without sugar

Lunch: 1 orange, 1 boiled egg, 1 sour milk, 2 biscuits

Dinner: 4 oz. (125 g) of ground beef, 1 tomato, 1 biscuit, 1 cup of tea or coffee

Day 3

Breakfast: 1 orange, 2 biscuits, a cup of coffee or tea without sugar

Lunch: 1 orange, 1 boiled egg, 1 sour milk, and 1 small lettuce

Dinner: 4 oz. (125 g) of ground beef, 1 orange, 1 biscuit, 1 cup of coffee or tea

Day 4

Breakfast: 1 orange, 2 biscuits, a cup of coffee or tea without sugar

Lunch: 4 oz. (125 g) of fresh low-fat cottage cheese (or mozzarella), 1 tomato, 1 biscuit

Dinner: 4 oz. (125 g) of ground beef, 2 tomatoes, 1 apple, 1 biscuit

Day 5

Breakfast: 1 orange, 2 biscuits, a cup of coffee or tea without sugar

Lunch: 7 oz. (200 g) of cooked meat or fish, 1 tomato, 1 biscuit

Dinner:  1 pound (500 g) of cooked vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, carrots…), 1 boiled egg, 1 tomato

Good to know

It is important to note that foods rich in carbohydrates, such as bread, pasta and potatoes are strictly prohibited at this diet. You should comply with egg diet 5 days according to the above schedule. After that, take a break for 2 days when you eat all foods, but moderate. You should repeat five-day diet plan 3 times with 2 days break between.

The advantage of this diet is that you can lose the excess weight easily in a short period of time. But it is possible that the pounds will quickly come back if you return to the old way of eating; and also the old amounts of food that you eat. So adjust your daily menu after losing weight.
