Broccoli soup with sesame is extra delicious and healthy entree. I’m not a big fan of soup, but this one I couldn’t resist. Broccoli has a delicate tangy taste and is a great ingredient for a tasty soup.
Recipe for broccoli soup with sesame
It is very quickly ready to serve. This soup takes only 30 minutes for cooking. Recipe’s for 2 servings and easy to make. Calorie value is 278 kcal. It contains 10.3 g carbohydrates.
Ingredients that you need for the soup:
- 1 medium sized broccoli
- 1 medium sized onion
- 7 fl oz. (200 ml) of vegetable broth
- 7 fl oz. (200 ml) of water
- 4 fl oz. (100 ml) of neutral cream
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame
- sea salt and pepper
Wash the broccoli and separate the florets from the stem. Peel and finely chop the onion. Then heat the oil in a large saucepan and simmer the onion. Drain the oil to stay only onion and then fill with the vegetable broth.
Place broccoli in and top up with water. Simmer with the broccoli for about 10 minutes. Then add the cream and season with salt and pepper.
Mix everything thoroughly with a hand blender and taste again. Fill the soup into small bowls and sprinkle with sesame.

Note: For even richer taste you can fry the sesame and then sprinkle the soup. It will give the special aroma to this broccoli soup.
