For centuries, calendula (Marigold) was the main ingredient of medicinal balm that relieves allergic skin reactions.

St. John’s wort (Klamath Weed) is a fantastic remedy for cuts, burns, wounds and stabs.

Plantain, thanks to allantoin, stimulates the production of new healthy skin cells and thus accelerates regeneration of damaged tissue.

The essential oil of lavender is the most popular essential oil in aromatherapy. The emergence of this discipline is just linked to this plant. Experimenting in his laboratory, the French chemist Gatfos, the founder of modern aromatherapy, has burned his hand. Then, unconsciously he pushed his hand into the bowl with the essential oil of lavender. He was fascinated by the effect. The pain went away, blisters didn’t appear, burns quickly disappeared and the scars didn’t show up.

This miraculous balm is very effective in the treatment of skin diseases. So, everyone should have it in their homes.

Ingredients that you need for the balm:

  • 3 ½ oz (100 g) pork / goose lard
  • 5 stalks of yarrow
  • 2 oz (50 g) Klamath Weed oil
  • 5 flowers of calendula
  • 5 leaves of plantain
  • 1/3 oz (10 g) beeswax
  • 25 drops of essential oil lavender

Preparation:  Wash the pork / goose lard with little cold water. Then spill the water and repeat the procedure 9 times. Heat up the lard slowly, and when completely dissolved add flowers and leaves of yarrow, calendula flowers and plantain leaves. When mixture sizzles, remove from the heat and stir with a fork 3 minutes. Then cover and leave to stand for 24 hours.

Tomorrow, warm the mixture with constant stirring. When melted, strain through clean gauze. In a separate vessel mix Klamath weed oil and natural beeswax. Then heat steamed with constant stirring. As soon as the wax melted, mix it with previously filtered balm and leave to cool for 10 minutes. Then add lavender essential oil, mix well and pour into clean and completely dry jars. Store the miraculous balm in cold and dark place.
