Wild salmon recipe: Low-carb and low-calorie

Wild salmon is not grown on the farm. It is thinner, less greasy and the meat is redder than at the farm salmon. Although the outside looks inconspicuous, salmon has a wonderful meat inside, red and with a special taste. You cannot replace it with another fish. This is one of the healthiest fish, rich in omega 3 fatty acids. It is full of vitamins, minerals and proteins. So it’s not surprising, that salmon is always on the list of foods for a healthier and longer life.

 You should bake salmon at high heat and short; when the meat starts to pull away in layers -meaning that is done.

Wild salmon recipe: Low-carb and low-calorie

Recipe contains 4 servings and total time for cooking is 30 minutes. Thereof, preparation time is 20 minutes and cooking takes just 10 minutes.

Ingredients that you need are 4 salmon fillets, 8 lemon slices (about 2 lemons); 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil and salt to taste. Then ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper; ¼ cup lemon juice (1 squeezed lemon); ½ cup white wine; 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary leaves and 4 teaspoons dill.

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F). Prepare the pan for baking the fish. Then cover the fillets with napkins and dab to extract excess water. After that season the fillets with salt, pepper, and rosemary. Place it in the pan with olive oil. Then in a small bowl, mix dill and lemon juice and pour over fillets. Put the lemon slices on fillets and sprinkle the white wine. Place the pan into the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, depends on thickness of fillets.
